Nom Nom Nom

Over the last week or so, Grace has been cranky more often than usual.  The usual fixes weren't working, and the only comfort she was finding came by trying to chew on her hands.  This led to some inevitable parent panic and the worst-case scenario, WebMD-quality amateur diagnosis that Grace was starting to teethe.  We tried a few remedies, teething toys, OralGel and a frozen waffle (which she loved), with limited success, so after a few days we thought it best to take our little girl to the doctor.

It turns out that despite watching every single episode of House, Carrie and I have terrible diagnostic skills.  Grace isn't teething at all, and probably won't be for a few more months.  She was just getting bigger, big enough to want some solid food.  Her prescription: oatmeal.

Although there have been some challenges, Grace is taking to her treatment well so far.  Some things are better described by pictures rather than words, however, so here's a couple of highlights from her second real meal.
